RP Export for SpaceClaim is a free OpenRP RP file export add-in for SpaceClaim. This add-in gives SpaceClaim the ability to export 3D solid and surface data from a SpaceClaim part or assembly document to an RP file.

RP Export for SpaceClaim tessellates solid bodies in a SpaceClaim document into a set of triangular meshes. These meshes are then exported to an OpenRP RP file as mesh objects.

RP Export for SpaceClaim is very easy to use. It adds new commands to SpaceClaim. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into SpaceClaim and adds a new ribbon bar to SpaceClaim called "RPExport" containing the newly added commands.


Installation & Usage

RP Export for SpaceClaim is a add-in for SpaceClaim. RP Export for SpaceClaim is very easy to use. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into the SpaceClaim environment. If automatic loading fails there are manual loading instructions in the ReadMe file. Once loaded it adds new commands to SpaceClaim's existing commands and a new submenu called "RPExport" to the SpaceClaim menu containing these newly added commands.

The 'RPExport' submenu consists of the following commands:

• Export - Exports an RP file
• Help - Displays the RP Export for SpaceClaim help file
• Web - Displays the OpenRP Home Page
• About - Displays the RP Export for SpaceClaim about box
