RP Export for Alibre Design is a free RP file export add-on for Alibre Design. This add-on gives Alibre Design the ability to export 3D solid data from an Alibre Design part and assembly document to an OpenRP RP file.

RP Export for Alibre Design tessellates the solid bodies in a Alibre Design part or assembly document into individual triangular meshes. These meshes are then exported to a OpenRP RP file as mesh objects.

RP Export for Alibre Design is very easy to use. It adds new commands to Alibre Design. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into Alibre Design and adds a new submenu called "RPExport" to the Alibre Design menu containing these new commands.

If automatic loading fails there are manual loading instructions in the ReadMe file. Once loaded it adds new commands to Alibre Design's existing commands and a new submenu called "RPExport" to the Alibre Design menu containing these newly added commands.

The 'RPExport' submenu consists of the following commands:

• Export - Exports an RP file
• Help - Displays the RP Export for Alibre Design help file
• Web - Displays the OpenRP Home Page
• About - Displays the RP Export for Alibre Design about box
